How do I register and set up an account on www.aspenlaw.com?

Click on “Create Account” located at the top right of the page. Fill out all of the fields on the form. Click “Submit.”

Why did I receive the message "Invalid user name or password, please try again" when I tried to log in?

Either we did not recognize your email address or your password did not match your email address. First try the "Forgot Password" link where you will enter the email address associated with your account. If your email address is recognized, we will send you an email with a new password that you can use to log in. If your email address is not registered, you will see the message "You are not registered with our site. Please register." You can register by clicking Create Account at the top right of the page.

Please note, if you had not made recent digital purchases on AspenLaw.com before the new website was launched in early September, your account may not have been moved to the new website and you will have to create a new account.

What does the error message “A customer with this username already exists!” mean?

If you see this error message when you are trying to create an account, it means the email address you are entering is already associated with a previously registered account. Please use a different email address to register a new account, or log in with the existing account instead of trying to create a new account.

Are there any restrictions on the length or characters in my password?

Password must be between 6 and 16 characters and include at least one letter and one number. Special characters (#, &, =, +, * etc) ARE allowed. 

How do I change my password?

1. Log in to your AspenLaw.com account.
2. Go to "Personal Information" under My Account.
3. Click the "Edit" link above or below your Personal Information
4. Click the "Change Password" link under your email address
5. Enter your current password in the first text box, then type your new password in the second and third text boxes.
6. Click the "Update Password" button
7. Important! Click the "Save Changes" button

I cannot find a product I bought on AspenLaw.com previously. What should I do?

If you did not receive a print product or you do not see a digital product in your account for which your access has not yet expired, please contact Customer Care at 1-800-234-1660 or customer.service@wolterskluwer.com with your order and product information. 

Note that print products or expired digital products that were purchased on the previous AspenLaw.com website (before Sept 3, 2013) will not appear in your account history on the new AspenLaw.com website. However, our Customer Care representatives will be able to see previous order history details if you have any questions or concerns about your account. 

How do I redeem an Access Code for an ebook, video, simulation or other digital product?

1. Login or Create an Account on AspenLaw.com
2. Go to Redeem an Access Code under My Account in the top right corner
3. Enter your code in the box provided and click submit
4. You should then find the digital product under "My Digital Library" or Order History
5. Click the ACCESS or DOWNLOAD button to start using the product

Important Notes:

- For digital products that are accessed on a third party website, you may have to log in again on that website using your AspenLaw.com account email address and password combination.
- You can bookmark the third party site and go directly there to access your product in the future.
- If you are trying to access an ebook, you must first install the latest version of Adobe® Digital Editions on your computer or Bluefire Reader on your mobile device.

How do I obtain an access code if I purchased a Kindle edition of a course book that includes video access?

Please email us as at legaledu@wolterskluwer.com with your proof of purchase and we will provide you with an access code.
